Ceremony & Reception

Our wedding and reception will be held in the same place:  The Brazilian room in Tilden Park, Berkeley on Wildcat Canyon Road.  Please note that most cell phones do not work here (Verizon appears to be an exception).

Schedule:

3:00     Harpist begins playing

3:30     Ceremony will begin 

4:00     Hors d'oeuvres

5:00     Dinner (there will be vegetarian options)

10:00   Facility must be vacated by this time 

Note that we have the place all afternoon, so you can come a little early.  The ceremony itself will start at 3:30.  We have vegetarian and pescatarian options for dinner, but if you have special food requirements, please let us know.

We both would like to have the ceremony outdoors.  However, the weather on February 15th is unlikely to accommodate us.  If the weather is above 60 degrees, with low winds and low chance of rain, it will be held outdoors on the beautiful patio in front of the Brazilian Room.  Otherwise, it will be indoors.

Please dress comfortably.   February is the wettest month in Berkeley and one of the coldest.  

The Brazilian room has a strict policy of not allowing any rice, petals, bubbles, etc. to be thrown or signs to be attached to the walls or building.
